Inmate seeks state assisted suicide
RENO, Nev. (AP) ­— A death row inmate who maintains his innocence in the 1988 killing of a Reno woman waived his appeal, Wednesday, and was ordered to be executed in what his lawyer said amounts to “state-assisted suicide.”
