In their final game of the season, the Hawks beat the Wildcats, 30-28.
For most of the first half, every other rush by Cole Rieben of the Wildcats, a freshman from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, resulted in a touchdown.
Of Rieben’s 206 rushing yards for the game, 124 were for touchdowns.
The Hawks retaliated with three touchdowns in a row.
“I think it’s the best game we’ve played of the season,” said Quinn Anderson., a freshman from Baker City, Ore., and Wildcats player.
“It was a great game. Both teams really came together, gave their all and really showed a lot of character on the field,” said Scott Crosby, a junior from Cowley, Wyo. and coach of the Hawks.
Competing for third and fourth place, the Titans will play against the Vikings Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. Afterwards the Wolverines will face the Knights at 6 p.m. in the championship game.
Live bands will perform, and 100 prizes will be given out at the games.
