Q: Were there any people in your life to whom you attribute your success?
A: My family my brothers and sisters were my role models while growing up. It was the people I knew everyday in life that helped me to aspire.
Q: Describe the Olympic experience in 15 words or less.
A: You work your whole life for one chance to do your best.
Q: You attended school here when it was Ricks College. Do you have any advice for students about the importance of their education?
A: I think with a person’s education, it teaches them discipline, commitment and to believe and push yourself. It’s very important, and involves every aspect of life all rolled into one.
Q: Concerning your book, why did you want to leave the message to readers to never stop pushing?
A: Sometimes in life we quit. We never reach our true potential because of doubt, disbelief, and all those things. Never Stop Pushing is to help people build on what they’ve been given, and use struggles, failures, success and so on to their advantage and benefit.
