Entertainment, food, friends and coupons. What more could attract a BYU-Idaho student?

The second annual Rexburg Unplugged will be held on Sept. at the corner of Main and Center streets in Rexburg from 12 - 4 p.m.

Rexburg Unplugged was scheduled for the Sept. 10, but due to rainy weather it was postponed to Saturday, September 17. Rexburg Unplugged is held to give students an opportunity to meet the community and local businesses, said Janet Youngstrom from the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce.

Packets will be handed out that contain information about local businesses and the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce, ideas for recreational activities in Rexburg and coupons for some favorite places.

Bands such as Highway Casanova, National Holiday and Mark Babcock will provide entertainment.

“We’ll have entertainment and there will be lots of booths; really good food booths,” Youngstrom said.
