This presentation will also pay special attention to the history of the Reformation period through many original Bibles and display several essential translations in their original editions—illuminated bibles written by hand, an authentic Gutenberg leaf, a first edition King James Bible, and more. Be inspired to treasure your personal and family history through a first-hand experience with history.

11:40 PM Raish, Martin Nephi's Zip Code and Other Perplexities: Geography and Archeology of the Book of Mormon - Because the Book of Mormon describes events that happened hundreds of years ago, it can sometimes be challenging to see the men and women of those times as real people. Where did they live? What did they looked like? What kind of clothes did they wear? What were their houses and cities like? While there are no definitive answers to questions such as these, we will explore some tantalizing possibilities that can help us bridge the gulf between their lives and ours, to make their experiences more powerful (as well as more poignant) for us today.

Steve will review effective time management, basic study skills including power reading, test taking tips, note taking skills, and memory methods.

To add to your experience, arrangements have been made for Education Week participants of all ages to choose from any of the following activities to do between the many classes offered. A 2014 Education Week Wrist Band is required to participate.

ZUMBA Thu, Fri, and Sat, 7-8 a.m. Small dance room in the Hart Bldg. (Modest dress standards, please.)
MORNING BASKETBALL, Drop-In Thu, Fri, and Sat, 7-8 a.m. BYU-Idaho Center Auditorium Courts. Stop by with your team or come and be assigned. (Modest dress standards, please.)
SWIMMING Thu, Fri, and Sat, 6 -10 a.m. Open for Free Swim (Bring your own suit. Modest dress standards, please.)
ROLLER SKATING Thu and Fri, 6 -10 p.m. Manwaring Center West Ballroom
BOWLING Thu and Fri, 6 -10 p.m. Manwaring Center, bottom floor
ROPES COURSE Thu and Fri, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sat., 9 a.m.-3 p.m., South of baseball diamonds on 7th South. (Classes are 2 hours and must be scheduled at the Education Week registration desk in the Manwaring Center. Waiver forms are required for all participants and parents' permission is required for participants under 18 years old.)
FITNESS CENTER Thu, Fri, and Sat, 5 a.m. -11 p.m. Hart Building $3 fee (includes BYU-Idaho gym issue clothing)
PLANETARIUM SHOWS Thu & Fri, 9-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Sat 9-2 p.m.
