The Nauvoo Student Tour is a fast-paced bus tour that allows students to see church history sites that they may not be able to see again in a lifetime.

Tour such sites as:

  • Independence
  •  Liberty Jail
  • Adam-ondi-Ahman
  • Nauvoo
  • Carthage Jail
  • Winter Quarters
  • Martin's Cove.

The Department of Religious Education sponsors this tour, and each tour is led by two Religion Faculty members.  These tours provide an uplifting spiritual experience for all who participate.

When does the next Nauvoo Student Tour take place?


Spring Semester:  May 15th - 20th


Participant Requirements

You must be an accepted full-time BYU-Idaho student to attend. (On or off-track students will be accepted for the tour.  The tour is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.) 



Cost Information

Cost for the Spring Semester 2013 tour will be $375 per student.  This fee includes the bus, three nights in motels (2 in Navuoo, 1 in Liberty), a group dinner at the Nauvoo Family Inn on Saturday night , two breakfasts and the experience of visiting many Church history sites with BYU-Idaho Religious Education faculty.

The cost may be paid by cash, check, or credit card. (MasterCard or Visa only). Payment cannot be charged on a student account.
