In response to many requests by students and faculty over the past several years, a new electronic waitlist feature will be added to the registration system on July 17, 2012. This new feature will enable students to add themselves to an electronic waitlist when they encounter a section that is full. The registration system will then manage the process of adding students to the section as seats become available. This electronic waitlist is designed to replace the paper waitlists utilized by instructors in the past. It is anticipated that this new feature will help to manage access to high-demand sections in a more efficient and equitable manner.
