The Beatells, the local Beatles tribute band, are scheduled to play two shows in Rexburg this week.
Stuart Deacon, who portrays John Lennon, said the band has performed in Rexburg before but they're excited for this week's performances.
Deacon said he started the tribute band in high school and they played at the Romance Theatre on Main Street their last day of school, four years ago.
"I think one of things that's cool about the Beatles' music, is it's just rock and roll at its finest," Deacon said. "The cool think about the show is that everyone sings the parts, just like the Beatles did, and they also do the instruments live. If we mess up, we mess up - the Beatles did that on occasion."
The Beatells are scheduled to play at Nielsen's Frozen Custard for the Underground Railroad on Friday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m.
The band will also play at the Romance Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at rexburg.org/pages/arts, or at the door. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for a family.
