Fall is usually the most crowded semester at BYU-Idaho but there are plenty of activities to accommodate the influx of students.
This semester is filled to the brim with promising activities as well as historic moments.
To begin, there will be an event called "Experience Rexburg," which will bring together the communities of students as well as local residents in Rexburg. This will feature food, fun, and music. All are invited to attend.
Henry J. Eyring will be installed as the 17th President of BYU-Idaho on Tuesday, Sept. 19. His father, Henry B Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will install him as president. This will be historic as this is the first father and son inauguration event in the university's history.
There are popular musical artists returning to the university to perform this semester as well. Groups ranging from the Gentlemen Trio: Gentri to a local favorite The National Parks will perform. You can click here for ticket information.
Other performances and events include "Dracula" by the theatre department. Also, there will be a fashion show on campus, a disc golf tournament as well as a lip sync battle. For a full list of events, click here.
Whether you're a freshman or a senior, there are plenty of activities for all walks of life this semester.
