A group of BYU-Idaho students are gearing up to host a giant Halloween party for kids from all over Rexburg.

"For our class, we had to put on an event this semester and so we chose to have a Halloween kiddie carnival,"  Emma Dillard, a junior studying communications with an emphasis in public relations told BYU-Idaho Radio. "It's open to the community children ages, basically from zero to 10, anyone in that age range."

Dillard says the event will be held in the Gordon B. Hinckley gym on BYU-Idaho campus and will include games for all ages,.

"We've definitely made sure that we have a few games and activities that kind of cater to different ages," Dillard said.

The carnival is Tuesday, October 31 from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Hinckley gym. Children can wear costumes. Full face masks or full face paint are not permitted.
