Preparation Checklists

Apply online at www.besmart.com: The shared application for the Church Educational System (which includes BYU–Idaho) is found here. This site also provides some great advice about preparing for college academically, financially, and more.
Receive admission offer: Your admission decision will be mailed to your home address. You can also check your status online at www.besmart.com. If you’re admitted, congratulations! You’re officially a BYU–Idaho student. Make sure you follow the next instructions to receive your track assignment and continue your progress.
Submit questionnaire: After receiving your admission letter, go to http://web.byui.edu/admissions/questionnaire to submit a supplemental admissions questionnaire used in determining your track assignment. You will be required to log in with your NetID and password. Do not submit this questionnaire until you’ve been admitted.
Receive and accept track assignment: Your track assignment will be made following your submission of the Admissions Questionnaire. To see if a track assignment has been made, visit www.byui.edu/response; you will also receive a track assignment letter in the mail.
