The goal of Political Science at BYU-Idaho is to challenge and stimulate students to develop an understanding of governmental institutions and political systems, and particularly, to critically evaluate the L.D.S. members' role in the nation's political process. Majors may have educational goals in law or in careers as consultants, in government or as educators. The following programs will be offered in political science: (1) a minor in political science, (2) a minor in American Government Education.
