Editor’s note:  Since Volume 6 Number 2 of Perspective appeared, some readers have expressed concern about John Rector’s article “What Is the Character of Your God?”, concern based on an inference that the article addresses the character of Deity in a theological sense.  We believe that this inference results from a misreading of the text, which is not theological and not intended to be theological, but clinical, psychological, therapeutic.  We recognize that editorship might have more fully clarified the distinction.
