RixStix & University Choir "Ezekiel: Son of Man"
Ezekiel: Son of Man is a five-movement work for narrator, four soloists, choir, piano, solo trumpet and a percussion orchestra of 18 players playing a myriad of percussion instruments. Each movement represents an important element of the ministry of Ezekiel and its impact on the children of Israel. Beginning with his calling as a prophet of the Lord, Ezekiel takes us on a journey that includes the downfall and slaying of the captured House of Israel, their Redeemer. the performance will feature the RixStix Percussion Group, Univeristy Choir, Collegiate Singers, and several faculty soloists including Michelle Broadbent, Ryan Nielsen, David Olsen, and David Peck.
