The Director: Diane Soelberg
Diane Soelberg serves as conductor of the Symphony Band, Chamber Winds, and director of oboe studies. She received a BM from the University of Utah, a BS in Music Therapy from Utah State University, and has worked as a music therapist in south Louisiana. Her master of music education is from BYU in Provo, Utah, where she studied conducting with Dr. David Blackinton and Dr. Clyn Barrus. Miss Soelberg has taught in Weber County, Utah, and worked as director of instrumental music at Timpanogos High School. She has served on the board of the Utah Music Educators Association, was conductor of the American Fork Symphony and worked on the staff of the Utah Ambassadors of Music since its first bi-annual European concert tour in 1997. She is active as a guest conductor, guest soloist, clinician and adjudicator. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
