Our Goals

The Church Educational System (CES) devotes many resources to the performance tour program, including financial support for production and travel, qualified artistic directors, and rehearsal time - all directed at these specific purposes:

• Edify and entertain audiences with uplifting, excellent performances, providing favorable publicity for the Church.
• Improve the general perception and understanding of the Church and its purpose.
• Increase the dignity and self-regard of local Church members through students' positive example and skillful performances.
• Give Church members the opportunity to host non-LDS and less-active friends.
• Generate missionary referrals from members who invite friends or family to performances.
• Give local Church leaders the opportunity to work with community organizations, increasing the possibility for future contact, cooperation, referrals, and teaching.
