Collegiate Singers
Brigham Young University-Idaho is committed to a tradition of excellence in the performing arts. This commitment is embodied in the outstanding talent and versatility of the Collegiate Singers, one of the university's top vocal groups.
With a repertoire that includes profound choral classics, challenging contemporary literature, folk songs and sprituals from many lands, and a generous dash of humor, the Collegiate Singers present a program that is sure to uplift and entertain audiences wherever they go.
Collegiate Singers is a talented group of 48 vocalists who perform to the highest of musical standards. Their 2009 touring program, entitled "Hope, Faith, Life, Love," explores the heights and depths of our shared journey through life- our joys and sorrows, our love and laughter, our triumphs and tragedies- and, especially, our shared longing for deeper, spiritual meaning and connectedness in a world of increasing uncertainty.
BYU-Idaho and the Collegiate Singers is committed to service and education through music and welcomes opportunities for educational outreach and community service. The choir also presents a program of sacred fireside music and the spoken word suitable for congregations of many faiths.
