Learn at Home

No matter your age or current situation in life, there is always more to learn. Increasing one's knowledge throughout life can bring great blessings and personal satisfaction as you look for opportunities to continually improve and grow as an individual

Through Online Learning at BYU-Idaho, students can develop a love for lifelong learning by taking online college courses from home. If you are looking to learn a new subject, develop a new skill or take that class that will help you in your current profession - BYU-Idaho's Online Learning options may be the right choice for you!

HOW IT WORKS

  • Continuing education students are non-degree seeking, non-matriculated students.
  • Students enrolled as continuing education students can take available online classes and receive college credit for those classes, however these students are not part of a degree program.
  • Credits earned online through continuing education do not satisfy the residency requirements for admission to an online degree program. View the BYU-Idaho Online Degree Program admission qualifications here.
  • Continuing edication students pay the same per credit tuition costs as degree seeking students as well as any individual course fees or other applicable fees.
  • Classes are semester based. View our Explore Online Courses page to learn more about how online courses work.
