OUR MISSION: to help foreign Pathway students develop their English skills, through realtime interaction with native-level English speakers.
HOW IT WORKS: our office facilitates matches of Pathway students with registered volunteers; speaking partnerships last for one semester, and 20-40 minute visits are held twice a week through Skype. The students earn 2 credits for each of the 3 semesters they participate as an English Language Learner.
WHAT IS DISCUSSED: identical discussion material is provided to the student and volunteer that correlates with the student's online coursework.
