Visit 1: Time Management
Today’s assignment is to discuss: How do we manage our time?
Discuss with your Speaking Partner the following:
- Describe what the people are doing in each of the pictures.
- Are some of the activities more important than the other activities?
- How does the gospel help you make good use of your time?
- What does it mean to be “stewards of our time”?
- Share an experience when you have made good use of your time.
Visit 2: Listening to the Spirit
Read to your Speaking Partner the following paragraphs from talks given by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin and Elder Dallin H. Oaks. Read one time through and discuss pronunciation, unfamiliar phrases, or vocabulary words. Read another time through and discuss the importance of listening to the Spirit to direct your use of time.

It’s Your Choice The Spirit will always guide and direct aright.… Follow the Spirit to focus your energies on that which matters most.… The truths of the gospel do not change.… If you will follow the Christ, follow his prophet, and follow his Spirit, you will always choose the right. Focus and Priorities Overarching everything is the importance of what the Spirit whispered to us last night or this morning about our own specific needs. Each of us should be careful that the current flood of information does not occupy our time so completely that we cannot focus on and hear and heed the still, small voice that is available to guide each of us with our own challenges today. |

- Do you think the Spirit helps us to plan our time so that we are able to accomplish more?
