Can I get financial aid?

As a BYU-Idaho student you are eligible for Federal Financial Aid. To apply for federal financial aid you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We encourage you to contact our Financial Aid office for more detailed information.

Online degree students are not eligible for institutional scholarships and grants.

Students who have previously earned a bachelor's degree are ineligible for federal Pell grants.

Federal Financial Aid can come in a number of forms:

In most cases, there is no credit minimum to be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant. In order to be eligible for Federal Student Loans, however, you must enroll at least half-time (6 credit hours). Please contact the BYU-Idaho financial aid office for more information (financialaid@byui.edu).
