Where do I begin?
If you meet the eligibility requirements you'll need to apply to BYU-Idaho. This is done at besmart.com, please visit our Application page for additional details. Once you've applied and been accepted, you'll then be able to register for classes. New online students are encouraged to take GS 111, an online orientation course offered every block, that is designed to prepare students to succeed online. It will also help you chart a course to graduation.
What are the courses like?
Online courses at BYU-Idaho follow a similar format and have the same learning objectives as campus-based courses. Students can expect to interact with each other and participate in the learning model. You can Explore Online Courses to learn more.
How long do these programs take?
The length of time it takes to finish an online program is up to you. Programs are designed to be flexible to allow you to progress and finish your degree while balancing a busy life. You can accelerate graduation by taking courses year round, or take a semester off when needed. There is no limit to the number of credits or degrees that can be earned online.VIEW PROGRAMS
