After PathwayConnect, many students continue their education through online degree or certificate programs, such as those offered through BYU-Idaho Online. However, a student’s professional and academic goals may include a degree not offered through BYU-Idaho Online. In these cases, students should consider local educational options. BYU-Pathway Worldwide and BYU-Idaho Online are working with several universities to provide students with many educational options.

Considering Other Educational Options

Decisions regarding education are highly personal and should be determined according to the needs of the student. As the student reflects on where to continue their education, they should consider the following:

  • Personal inspiration

  • Life goals

  • Monetary and time costs

  • Program duration

  • Professional opportunities available

  • Reviews of the program/testimonials

  • Advice from family members and local Church leaders

  • Information provided by Church departments, such as Self-Reliance Services

Acceptance Requirements

If a student wishes to pursue an educational path with a partnered university, they must:

  • Be a student living within the United States

  • Be willing to pay tuition for the universities to which they apply

Please note that while the universities listed below are partnered with BYU-Pathway, applying to their programs will not guarantee acceptance. Students must meet the acceptance standards of each university to which they apply.

Students who live outside of the United States may have education options outside of BYU-Idaho. Students with questions about their options can contact their local Self-Reliance Services department.
