Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

The Associate of Science Degree in Nursing is a two-year college degree which will permit the graduate to take the test* to become a Registered Nurse.

  • The ASN is an accelerated program that takes four consecutive semesters to complete.
  • Students are admitted to each semester.
  • ASN Graduates are encouraged to complete a Baccalaureate in Nursing.

* The NCLEX-RN® is a national exam that all RN's must pass. There is a special testing service for this test and only certain places and times the test is offered. The candidate may take this test at any of the sites the testing service offers it. The State Board of Nursing (such as the Idaho State Board of Nursing) authorizes the testing service to allow the candidate to take the test.

    Bachelors of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)

    • The program can be completed online, on-campus, or both.
