Associate of Science in Nursing: Applications and Cost
Applications
- Two separate applications: One for BYU-Idaho, and one for the Nursing Program.
- The applicant must also submit "official college transcripts" submitted separately to the BYU-Idaho Registrar and the Department of Nursing. NON-RECEIPT of the applicant's official transcript(s) by the application deadline date will invalidate the application and the student will not be considered for admission to the program.
- The completed nursing application must be submitted to the Department of Nursing:
BYU-Idaho Nursing Department
102 Clarke Building
Rexburg, ID 83460-0620
Note: Students who have more than 32 credits will only be considered for the Alternate Track.
ASN Nursing Application Deadlines
Traditional or Alternate Track
Summer Semester Admission - November 1st
Fall Semester Admission - March 1st
Winter Semester Admission - June 1st
A Pre-Admission Entrance Exam
Must be completed.
A Criminal Background Check
Must be completed. A felony conviction will disqualify an applicant.
Important Note: The Department of Nursing does not have a different GPA requirement from the University. HOWEVER, space is limited. The minimum GPA for the past 5 years has been 3.7. We counsel interested applicants to be aware that GPA is very important.
