Students at Brigham Young University-Idaho will be able to "Eat Mor Chikin" when a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opens later this summer inside The Crossroads food court.

Construction is expected to begin in July on the new food court restaurant, which is located inside the Hyrum Manwaring Student Center.

"BYU-Idaho is pleased to partner with Chick-fil-A," said Todd Huchendorf, director of University Food Services. "They offer a product that's popular with students and that's a good fit with the other offerings available in The Crossroads. We look forward to having them on campus."

The new Chick-fil-A location will serve the original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A Nuggets, Chick-fil-A Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A Grilled Chicken Nuggets, Chick-fil-A Chicken Strips, Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries, Chick-fil-A Grilled Market Salad and freshly squeezed Chick-fil-A Lemonade.

The BYU-Idaho Chick-fil-A location will be open from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. As with all Chick-fil-A locations, it will be closed on Sunday. The restaurant will be open to students and the public.

Chick-fil-A is the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States with 1,816 locations in 39 states and annual sales of more than $5 billion. The chain has almost 260 licensed locations on college and university campuses and inside business complexes and airports.
