A combined choir from Brigham Young University-Idaho will sing at the 181st Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m., in Salt Lake City.

Randall Kempton and Eda Ashby, both faculty members in the Department of Music, will direct the 360-person group, which was made from four campus choirs. The conference will be broadcast across the world in 70 different languages, entering millions of homes and church meetinghouses.

"It is always exciting to be invited to an event this big. We are very grateful for this opportunity," said Kempton. "It is a privilege to add to the spirit of the meeting through our music, and we hope that we complement the sermons that are given."

Many local cable and radio stations make the broadcast available to subscribers' homes. In addition, conference sessions may be viewed live at www.lds.org
