Country singer and "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery will perform Saturday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg.

Tickets for the BYU-Idaho Center Stage concert will go on sale Monday, March 31, at 8:15 a.m. They can be purchased online at www.byui.edu/tickets or from the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office located in the Kimball Building. Tickets are $25 for the general public, $15 for BYU-Idaho students and $40 for premium seats. A preshow dinner in the Manwaring Center Grand Ballroom at 6 p.m. is $15 extra.

McCreery has emerged as one of country's hottest new stars. He has earned a gold and platinum album, two gold singles, and two consecutive album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.

After winning Season 10 of "American Idol" in 2011, McCreery released his debut album, which was the best-selling solo album released by a country artist in 2011. Indeed, he became the youngest man in history to have his first album debut atop the all-genre Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

He was named Top New Artist by Billboard and won best new artist awards at the Academy of Country Music Awards, the American Country Awards, and the CMT Awards. His new album, "See You Tonight," released in October 2013, debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
