The Brigham Young University-Idaho Department of Music's Chamber Brass concert will be held on Friday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall in the Eliza R. Snow Center for the Performing Arts sponsored by the Brigham Young University-Idaho Department of Music. The event is free to students and community.
The performance will feature pieces from the Renaissance composer Giovanni Gabrielli and Contemporary composer Eric Ewazen. The concert will also present a brass quartet and quintet.
Members of this audition ensemble also perform in musicals and operas on the BYU-Idaho campus including the Sinfonietta, a string and chamber group that performs 18th-century orchestra music and tours internationally.
