Ensemble Audition Information (Percussion)

Percussion auditions are held the day before the first day of classes each semester

in the Percussion Rehearsal Room (Room 182 in the Snow Building)

The focus of the audition is two-fold;

To evaluate talent levels and availability of percussionists desiring to participate in the various performance ensembles at BYU-Idaho, and
To staff the large ensembles within the Department of Music.

While the audition process is necessary, it is the desire of the percussion faculty that everyone who desires to be involved in any way in the percussion program have the opportunity to do so. We invite you to participate regardless of background or playing abiliy.

An audition signup sheet will be available by Tuesday, September 8 on Bro. Taylor's office door, Room 174 in the Snow Bldg.
