Salsa Band

The Salsa Band is periodically offered to give students the opportunity to learn and explore principles of latin jazz. Instrumentation usually includes an enhanced rhythm section of guitar, piano, bass, drum set, and two auxiliary percussionists focusing on conga, timbales and other Latin instruments. Winds range from trumpet, trombone, and saxophone to complete sections dependent upon repertoire and student need.
