Angela Rich McCabe joined the music faculty at BYU-Idaho in fall of 2008. She holds a Bachelor's degree in flute performance from Brigham Young University and a Master's degree in flute performance from Arizona State University. She is currently finishing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in flute performance from Arizona State University. As an orchestral player she has performed with the Phoenix Bach Chorale, Symphony of the Southwest, Utah Valley Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Brevard Music Center Orchestra, and is currently principal flutist of the Spire Music Orchestra. As a soloist she has soloed with the Salt Lake Symphony. Ms. McCabe currently plays with the Arizuma Woodwind Quintet (Phoenix) and Looking Glass Winds (New York City). She is the flutist and founding member of the Mill Avenue Chamber Players, a non-profit chamber group that promotes music education and appreciation. Her primary teachers include Elizabeth Buck and Paul Edmund-Davies.
