The BYU-Idaho Symphony Band represents the finest wind and percussion students on campus. This distinctive group of instrumentalists performs literature from a variety of musical periods and styles, including premiers of original works, orchestral transcriptions and standard band literature. The ensemble tours both domestically and internationally and is open to all students regardless of major.

University Band is open to all students during winter and spring semesters. This ensemble enriches the musical experience of its members and consists of students from all disciplines who wish to continue their band experience while pursuing a degree program of choice. Music Education majors are encouraged to participate on a secondary instrument.
