Golden Lund began teaching tuba and euphonium at BYU-Idaho in the Fall of 2012. He has two degrees in tuba performance: a B.M. from the University of Utah, a M.M. from Indiana University, and is a D.MA. Candidate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Golden's musical training is extensive as he has studied with some the finest tuba performers and teachers in the world including Daniel Perantoni, Warren Deck, and Gary Ofenloch. While attending the Univeristy of Utah Golden performed with the Utah Symphony and Orchestra at Temple Square. After leaving Salt Lake, Golden won a year -position with the Louisiana Philharmonic where he performed as principal tubist. While in Indiana, Golden was a highly sought after tubist performing with all the regional orchestras in southern Indiana. During his time in Nebraska Golden was principle tubist of Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra, and frequently performed as substitute in the Omaha Symphony.
