Brandon Bascom a native of Provo, Utah, began piano lessons at the age of three. He has given various concerts including solo recitals in The Temple Square Concert Series in 1991 and 1993, and during the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Brandon has won numerous festivals and competitions. He has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras. Brandon served an L.D.S. mission in the New York, New York North Mission, and in 2003 married Lindsey Walk. Brandon earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Brigham Young University in August 2004. In 2006, Brandon completed his Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at The Manhattan School of Music in New York City. In 2008, Brandon earned another Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan. Brandon furthered his studies at The University of Iowa where he is finishing his doctoral work. Brandon has maintained his own private studio, teaching students since 2002. He has studied with Uriel Tsachor, Christopher Harding, Arkady Aronov, Dr. Irene Peery-Fox, Ralph van der Beek, Gary Amano, Dr. David Glen Hatch, and Piano Pedagogy with Dr. Carol Aicher, Dr. John Ellis and Dr. Alan Huckleberry.
