Who Can Help My Students?

As mentors, there will be times when you cannot help students with all their problems. However, there are plenty of university resources that will support you and assist you in getting students what they need.
The Academic Advising Office helps students plan classes and provides advice on course sequencing and career planning.
The Internship and Career Services Office helps students network, find internships, and prepare for their careers.
The Dean of Students Office advocates for and assists students who have experienced unusual hardships in getting the help they need.
The Counseling Center provides professional resources for individual, couple, or group counseling.
The Student Disabilities and Accommodations Office helps faculty create reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities.
The Title IX Office handles all reports of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, stalking, and domestic violence.
The Student Honor Office handles all incidents of academic dishonesty and helps mentors set up student interventions when necessary.
The Mentoring Office connects students who may need additional support with peer mentors, both long-term and short-term.
Take immediate action in life-threatening or emergency situations.
The BYU-Idaho Wellness Center helps students create and reach mental, physical, social, and spiritual goals. Our purpose is to promote a balanced, happy life.
