Test-out Options


Students who choose not to complete Foundations Math 108 may choose one of the following options to fulfill the Quantitative Reasoning requirement within the Foundations program:

 

  1. Successfully complete one of the following classes: Math 109, 110, or 112. Competency in basic probability & statistics and personal & family finances must also be demonstrated. To prove competency in basic probability & statistics, students must pass the Statistical Literacy Exam. To prove competency in personal & family finances, students must first pass the Financial Mathematics Exam. Students passing this examination will then need to complete the Provident Living Project.   3. Successfully complete one of the following classes: Math 221, 222, or 223. Competency in personal & family finances must also be demonstrated. To prove competency in personal & family finances, students must first pass the Financial Mathematics Exam. Students passing this examination will then need to complete the Provident Living Project.
