Travel

The Learning and Teaching Travel Committee is charged with sending faculty to teaching conferences or training workshops that will enhance the quality of learning and teaching at BYU-Idaho. The committee has representation from each of the six colleges and is chaired by Danae Romrell. Committee members are encouraged to educate and promote participation among the faculty in their college.

Each semester the committee sends a team of 5-6 faculty members to a pre-selected conference.  Faculty are encouraged to travel together to create cross-disciplinary interaction.  A member of the Travel Committee serves as the group leader and will help coordinate activities.  Participants are encouraged to share what they learn after returning to campus, this might take the form of a department presentation, Perspective article or panel discussion.

If you are a full time faculty who would like to participate, please express your interest in attending an upcoming conference by completing this interest form.
