Dear Faculty Member:
The BYU-Idaho's Faculty Conference is a forum for academic dialogue where faculty members from different disciplines exchange developed ideas and ruminate together at this unique university.
On September 5, 2012, the conference will begin in the Hinckley Chapel at 9:00 am. This year's keynote address will be given by Ann Marie Harmon. From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, faculty presenters from across campus will share their distinctive insights into our profession (see schedule below). We invite you to participate in the discussions, as your questions this year will be the foundation of the next year's dialogue.
Different to this year's conference will be the faculty excursions. Starting at 1:00 pm, you will have the option to participate in activities that include a Rafting Trip, an Art Gallery Tour, or a Teton Dam Flood Excursion. There will also be a campus visit by DMBA VP/Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer, Kent Misener. His presentation will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There is no need to register for this workshop. Visit the Faculty Conference Excursions page for more information on these events.
Please register here before Thursday, August 30th to reserve a lunch and indicate if you would like to register for an excursion. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
Sincerely,
Dialogue Committee
