Money allocated for Thomas E. Ricks Grants is still available for 2013.
The Thomas E. Ricks Endowment was created to support BYU-Idaho faculty in their enrichment, retraining, and teaching efforts. All campus faculty are eligible to apply for research, travel, seminar, or any other grant that will directly benefit students.
Thomas E. Ricks Grants are an important part of campus faculty development at this university and can be used to:
The deadlines for each semester are November 1st, March 1st, and June 1st. Requests for funding can be made up to 18 months in advance of your project start date. In order to assist the highest number of faculty, applicants who have not received any money in the past three years will be given highest priority.
To submit a proposal, please complete the Grant Proposal Form. Please limit your response so as not to exceed the space provided on the proposal form. Do not include attachments. Once you have completed the proposal, make sure your department chair and dean provide comments and their signatures. Completed proposals (scanned copies will be accepted) should be forwarded to:
