Two new department chairs will begin their service August 1.
Steve Rigby has accepted the assignment to serve as the new chair of the Department of Computer Information Technology. Rigby replaces Art Ericson.
John Zenger has accepted the assignment to serve as the new chair of the Department of Biology. Zenger replaces Sid Palmer.
In announcing the changes, academic vice president Fenton Broadhead expressed his appreciation to both of the outgoing chairs for their service to their departments and to the university.
