Abstract submissions for the Research & Creative Works Conference are now open to all students on the R&CW Website. Submitting an abstract is required for all who wish to participate in the conference.

The R&CW Conference is an academic venue for students to share their original work. The conference provides students with an opportunity to engage in an independent project that will better prepare them for internships, advanced education, and the work place.

To submit an abstract, your students can follow this link or go to the conference website: Then, have them click on the tab labeled 'Abstract Submissions'. Submissions must be no longer than 345 words or 2200 characters.

Once each abstract is reviewed by the R&CW review board, prospective participants will be informed via email of which symposium and room their project will be presented in.

Conference manager, Parker Crandall, said, "The R&CW Conference is a great opportunity for on-campus students. It helps them as they prepare for internships, advanced education, and the workplace. We hope all faculty are encouraging their students to participate, as well as participating as mentors themselves."

Abstract submissions close on November 16th, 2012.
