In the recent October Brown Bag, Brother Clair Eckersell presented on writing effective letters of recommendation. The presentation was well-received and provided faculty with valuable ideas and handouts.

According to Brother Eckersell, "One of the important responsibilities of academics is to write letters of recommendation.  For some people, this activity - because of the responsibility it entails - is daunting."

Some faculty have expressed a desire to have access to the handouts and PowerPoint slides that Brother Eckersell used during his presentation. You can access them through the following links:

The next Brown Bag will be held on November 21st and 22nd. Shawn Jensen will be presenting on, "How off-campus competitions and real-life experiences increase student learning," and John Lewis on, "Endeavoring to keep internship ultimate outcomes from ending."
