Interdisciplinary Studies Virtual Forum with Tim Ng on June 8th at 7pm MDT

Tim Ng will be the keynote speaker at the Interdisciplinary Studies Virtual Forum on June 8; Current IDS students will deliver presentations on their internships and capstone projects on June 29.

IDS forums for the 2017 spring semester were announced featuring BYU-Idaho Alumnus and Google manager Tim Ng and current IDS students presenting on their internships and capstone projects.

On June 8 at 7:00pm MDT, Tim Ng will be the keynote speaker at a virtual forum. All IDS Students, including both online and campus students, are invited to attend. A link to access the forum will be sent out via email.

Ng is based in Mountain View, CA, and works as an Administrative Business Partner in Google's Research & Machine Intelligence Division.

Born and raised in England, Ng graduated from BYU-Idaho in International Affairs.

Ng managed BYU-Idaho's Pathway Speaking Partners Program until he began his graduate studies at Yale University, where he received a master's degree in Religion and Philosophy.

Ng spent a year in the US Air Force Reserves as a Chaplain Corps Officer. Ng and his wife Rebecca have a one year old son.

On Thursday, June 29, at 2:00pm MDT, current IDS students will deliver presentations on their capstone projects and internships.

Presentations will take place in the Little Theater (Room 372) of the Manwaring Center.

Those unable to attend the forum will be able to view a recording on our IDS video channel located on our website.
