Instruction and Technology Center

The Instruction and Technology Center (ITC) is dedicated to helping faculty learn new software tools and develop instructional media. Drop in or contact Dean Allen (496-1211) to reserve time on a machine or to have a 1-on-1 training session. We are open Monday thru Friday 8-5pm.

  The ITC has technology which will enable you to:
  • Create DVDs
  • Convert audio files to MP3s, WAVs, MIDIs, etc.
  • Import and export video to and from a Digital Video tape.
  • Capture VHS clips and convert them into
    QuickTime, MPEG, or AVI movies.
  • Create Adobe PDF files.
  • Scan and retouch old photographs for family history albums.
  • Scan 35mm slides and save them as jpegs, gifs,
    or bitmaps.
  • Create dynamic, engaging Web sites and Web pages.
  • Spruce up your PowerPoint
  • Take Digital pictures.
  • Create animations using Macromedia Flash.
