The Department of Instructional Development is an arm of the Academic Office that promotes best practices in learning and teaching among faculty and students. The office orients new faculty, oversees the Continuing Faculty Status (CFS) process, offers workshops, provides instructional consultation, and supports faculty committees that promote faculty development. The department also coordinates efforts within the larger university community to build systemic and sustained understanding and application of the Learning Model.
