To find out if your printer is capable of automatic double-sided printing:

  1. Click “File” from within the program associated with the document you’re printing.
  2. Click “Print.”
  3. Click “Settings.”
  4. Click “Print One-Sided.” If “Print On Both Sides” is available, your printer is capable of double-sided printing. If “Manually Print on Both Sides” is the only double-sided printing option available, that means you will have to flip the papers over yourself in order to print on both sides of the paper.

To then print a document double-sided:

  1. Click “File” from within the program associated with the document you’re printing.
  2. Click “Print.”
  3. Click “Settings.”
  4. Click “Print on Both Sides” or “Manually Print on Both Sides,” depending on whether or not your printer is capable of automatic double-sided printing.
    NOTE: If you choose “Manually Print on Both Sides,” you will be prompted to turn the papers over yourself and feed them back into the printer in order to print on both sides.
  5. Click “Print.”
