Due to increased security measures, all BYU-Idaho employees - including student employees - are now required to change their BYU-Idaho passwords once a year.
The university is implementing this requirement because BYU-Idaho employees may have access to private student and employee information, and the protection of this information is of vital importance to the university. Requiring employees to change their passwords yearly is one of many ways that the university can protect all university information for students, for employees, and for anyone in between.
This change will officially go into effect on February 20, 2018. For information about how to change your password, creating good passwords, and other cybersecurity-related topics, please visit BYU-Idaho's cybersecurity website at www.byui.edu/information-technology/security.
