BYU-Idaho has four portfolios, each with supporting I.T. staff who oversee the technology needs unique to the portfolio. The four portfolios are: Academics, Student Services, University Resources, and I.T. Core. Excepting the I.T. Core - which reports to the University CIO instead of a Vice President - each portfolio is governed through the following stewardships:
- Each serves and reports to a University Vice President who defines portfolio priorities and initiatives.
- A portfolio Coordinator acts as a liaison between users, the VP, and I.T. services.
- The Solutions Architect oversees all technical solutions, enterprise architecture, and resource efficiency.
- And each portfolio has a Managing Director who ensures quality management and project alignment with University goals.
