I-Learn Update Fall 2017
Learn about the new I-Learn update coming Fall 2017
On July 30, 2017, I-Learn underwent a visual update. The design and layout of Brightspace's I-Learn were simplified for a better visual organization of courses and course materials. With a responsive design included in the update, the new layout is optimized to work equally well on computers, phones, tablets, and other devices, regardless of resolution or screen size. This will help students upload assignments and participate in their courses from various locations and devices.
The goal of the update was to improve the visual layout of the system, while ensuring that the user experience remains familiar and easy to use for instructors and students.
The 'select a course' menu has been moved to a "waffle" icon at the top of the screen. All other navigation items are in the main navigation bar.
As the display size is decreased, the links at the top of the screen move to a menu icon in the upper left corner.
On-Campus I-Clicker Reef and Top Hat Announcement
In addition to I-Learn's visual update, BYU-Idaho has updated their on-campus classroom response systems. The physical I-Clicker device will no longer be used, but instead will be replaced with app and web based solutions.
